America's Dissatisfied Daughters
The nation’s young women are fed up and they want out.
“The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, and toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them…”
—Deuteronomy 28:56-57
The tender and delicate women of America are not happy. In fact, many young American women now say they would like to flee their home country permanently.

According to the above 2025 Gallup poll, this sentiment is widespread. 40% of all women aged 15-44 told the pollsters that they would like to move permanently to another country. The females more than doubled the number of males of the same age who wanted to leave America. It almost beggars belief: nearly half of all American women under the age of 45 say they would permanently abandon our country.
In This Economy?
The dissatisfaction of our women is even more dissonant when we consider the coddling indulgence that American women currently enjoy. For generations, due to feminist beliefs, women have been classified as a “minority class” in federal anti-discrimination law. Women now enjoy special legal privileges that men do not. Women are glorified in American mainstream culture; men are sneered at. The creation of HR departments codified feminine norms into corporate policy. The longhouse holds hegemonic control of America’s conscience. The United States has gone all-in on feminist egalitarianism and the fruit is not sweet: after all this, nearly half of our women are now saying they would like to permanently run away.

To be fair to them, life in modern America is grim. Crime rates hit record highs as American birth rates hit record lows. 41% of American children are born to unmarried mothers (up from 4% in 1950). Monetary immorality has strip-mined the American Dream. Life expectancy is declining. Rates of anxiety (18%) and depression (21%) are at historic highs. Public education reminds students that White Americans were historically evil oppressors. Our nation is unwell.
Facing such turmoil, it may be reasonable that young women want to get out. Perhaps our women are fleeing to greener pastures? Alas, if only that were the case. The reality is young women want even more of the policies that brought America into this catastrophe. Young women are significantly more liberal than their male counterparts, and are growing even more radical. Women disproportionately support abortion, homosexuality, and transgenderism. Poll after poll show young women are dramatically more liberal than young men. If these women want to abandon America, it’s because they are doubling-down on the decay.

The Protected Class
American women are given preferential treatment by force of law. Women are elevated into positions of power to satisfy diversity quotas. Once installed, the women in power reform our institutions in their own image. In her excellent article The Great Feminization, Helen Andrews demonstrates this phenomenon.
“Anti-discrimination law requires that every workplace be feminized. A landmark case in 1991 found that pinup posters on the walls of a shipyard constituted a hostile environment for women, and that principle has grown to encompass many forms of masculine conduct. Dozens of Silicon Valley companies have been hit with lawsuits alleging “frat boy culture” or “toxic bro culture,” and a law firm specializing in these suits brags of settlements ranging from $450,000 to $8 million. Women can sue their bosses for running a workplace that feels like a fraternity house, but men can’t sue when their workplace feels like a Montessori kindergarten. Naturally employers err on the side of making the office softer.”1
Americans have created a woman-fearing culture where feminine sensibilities are placated by threat of legal punishment. American life has been intentionally restructured to place women in the dominant position. Boys are socialized from an early age to understand that their loud and brash masculinity is dangerous and punished in polite society. American men undergo unceasing demoralization under a regime that defines them as the default oppressor.

As a woman, it is now easier for an American woman to get a good university, a prestigious job, a promotion, a favorable judgment in family court, attention on social media, a date on dating apps, and almost every single avenue of success in modern America. And how have women answered this civilizational privilege? With threats to leave.
Strikingly, there was little difference between single women and those who are married in the Gallup poll. Between 2024 and 2025, “41% of those who are married and 45% of those who are single said they would like to move abroad permanently if given the chance. This is the narrowest gap by marital status [...] that Gallup has recorded since first asking the question, suggesting that younger married women increasingly do not view marriage as a barrier to migration.”2 You might think marriage would keep these women rooted. Not so. They either expect their husbands to follow, or they’re willing to leave husbands and homeland behind.
What an unsettling attitude to find in our women. Robust and godly femininity is careful. Righteous women value security and safety when creating a home. Modern women are encouraged to despise their nurturing nature and become competitors in the public arena. We teach females to loathe their femininity. To hate the roles that God gave them: obedient daughter, respectful wife, loving mother, and powerful homebuilder.
What Does God Say?
“But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. Yea, they made their hearts an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his Spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.”
—Zechariah 7:11-12
Contra the world’s gynolatry, Christians have always believed that women are weaker vessels (1 Peter 3:7). In holy scripture God commands women to submit to male rule; and men to be loving leaders of women.
Sadly the American church has not obeyed our Lord’s commandments. In our generation, every major Christian institution was silent as our nation encouraged women to compete in the battlefield (2015: all combat positions in the US Military opened to women), the boardroom (2023: women led more than 10% of Fortune 500 companies for the first time), and the Beltway (2023: historic high of 25 women in the U.S. Senate).
The American church seems to have forgotten that scripture teaches that women are more vulnerable and men are called to lead and protect them. Women are commanded to honor their father and submit to their husbands. American Christians do not remember that female submission extends from the home to the church—where women are commanded to keep silent and are forbidden from holding authority over men. These gendered roles would therefore even more necessarily apply to public life, where our sisters in Christ require even more protection.
Instead of obeying God’s design and fulfilling our God-given duty to protect our women as weaker vessels, the foolish American church has accommodated the new woman as an egalitarian competitor to men. Even the most conservative American Christians generally encourage their mothers, wives, and daughters to perform the same functions as men in society and even to build public platforms as influencers in social media, politics, and the church. Yes, the average American Christian family is living in the legacy of “women’s liberation.”
The Load-Bearing Lie
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour…”
—Ephesians 4:25
What must we do? How can we restore our love and faithfulness? How can we repair the damage that has been done? Follow the old paths: Christians must repent of our sin and turn back to the Truth. We must expose and expunge the lies that we have believed.
I believe we must begin by casting out the central lie of feminism: women are an oppressed class. Feminism taught that women have been oppressed for the majority of human history and must be saved from their plight. Women’s liberation became popular in America only after this foundational lie about “injustice” was widely believed. The church must boldly repudiate this falsehood. We must loudly proclaim there was no such oppression.
To believe this narrative of historic oppression assumes a false view of power dynamics. Christians believe that women were designed by God to operate in a distinct and subordinate role. There is no harm or injustice in this. It is the God-ordained truth of human society. God differentiated men and women and designed lifestyles specific to the separate genders. To the masculine God gave the responsibility to rule. By fulfilling this role, men did not thereby become the oppressors of women.
After our society began to reject the true God, atheist humanist Karl Marx taught that justice was truly a question of power. Marxist doctrine argues that traditional Christian society is inherently unjust due to power imbalances. According to the Marxist calculation, it is unjust for men to rule. In the materialist worldview of modernity, human power is the only currency. Therefore, the redistribution of power from men to women became an important goal of social justice.
By the end of World War II the majority of our nation was persuaded by this lie of social justice—including the Christian pulpit. In the eighty years since, materialist humanism has become even more central to American public life. Until this lie is thoroughly denounced and driven from our nation, we will continue to see evil fruit—such as overindulged women who believe they are somehow still the victim of injustice.
Of course women apply the victim narrative selectively, when it benefits them. Women demand to be treated as equals to men in the business world, but then ask to be treated with deference and special protection when drinking at the bar. Women wear provocative clothing to attract male attention but then become offended by unwanted male attention they receive. Women vote on incredibly foolish and destructive political principles, and then fantasize about permanently leaving the country that they have ruined. The value of God’s design for male rule has been proven by our unleashing of fickle and unstable feminine politics.
Women are now less likely to get married than they were prior to being liberated. Our women are less likely to have children, and more likely to view motherhood as a burden rather than a gift. The women who were once the warm beating heart of our society have now created a deeply fractured and antisocial America. And women now say they would like to permanently move to another country.
In large part this was the men’s fault. Weak and passive men allowed this to happen and the weak and passive men of our generation do not inspire our women. But this is a war that was lost long ago, before we were born, and America’s demoralized young men have been left behind a conquered and occupied nation with nothing but desperation to guide them.
The American church must be light in the darkness. We must lead the way to reclaiming the truth of gendered life. We must once again become a light on a hill, separate and distinct from the foolishness of the world. There are many who are searching for something better than what the postmodern world is offering. The harvest is plentiful: pray the Lord of the harvest to raise up workers.
The Way Back Home
“Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord.”
—2 Corinthians 6:17
We will not escape this civilizational death-spiral without the grace of God. Pray that the perfectly merciful God forgives the American church from its deep rebellion. Pray that in an age of cowardice God will give us men who are willing to die for the truth. Pray and weep for our nation. We will not get out of this mess without God’s grace and blessing.
While we pray, we must also act. Christians must speak the truth, beginning with the house of God. We must admonish our brothers in Christ on how far we have been led astray by the world. If our own churches do not see the problem of feminism, then they will not help us destroy it. Remember: in a time of apostasy, truth-tellers must learn to be patient. Americans have undergone perpetual propagandizing on this exact topic; these roots run deep. It will take time for our brothers to change the ideas that they don’t even know they believe. Be kind and patient as you carry out this mission. Establish a relationship with your Christian brother before rebuking him. Love your brother, for love covers a multitude of sins.
We also need to take care when admonishing and rebuking women on this point. Unfortunately, our women are the most likely to be persuaded by the lies of feminism, as they are who stand to “gain” from women’s liberation. As we have seen by their very own polling, liberated women are not satisfied with the world that feminism created, but they have not connected those dots and they probably will not do so if you read them Bible verses. I suggest we strategically ignore their opinions on this subject. Fortunately women tend to be more willing to go with the flow. Studies have shown that women are more accepting of influence (Piper-Terry and Downey 1998), susceptible to persuasion (Eaton, Visser, and Krosnick 2013), and even have higher hypnotizability and absorption (Seema and Singh 2023). If Christian men become brave, many Christian women will join them.
Thus the great need of the hour is men who build Christian communities that are truly separate from the world. Families and churches that fear God and not man. Only then will we see organic faithful communities that Christian women can join, where they will embrace biblical femininity. Right now our modern churches do not challenge feminist presuppositions. American Christians sit in conservative churches for decades and never hear a single feminist lie confronted. We must change this.

For too long, the devil has deceived the saints of the Most Holy God through anthropology, sociology, and psychology. Our forefathers were not ready for this battle, and we have fallen far. We must now begin the long and difficult work of tearing down the high places and recovering what was lost. May God give us strength.
A Better Way
“Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”
—1 Peter 3:3-4
Positive vision wins over negative criticism. The church must openly celebrate Christian femininity. To refute the lie that patriarchy oppresses women, we must demonstrate that a true Christian community surpasses what the world offers. Our women must believe that God’s plan will be better than the feminist promises of “liberation” and “equality”. Mothers must model the joy of homebuilding to their daughters. Husbands loving their wives openly and unashamedly. Young men treating women with honor and distinction. This is the truth we must embody.
Christians must rebuild the world that was lost when our mothers entered the workforce and dropped off their kids at the daycare. The feminine world of playdates, long phone calls, and sending the kids out to ask the neighbors for a cup of sugar. Men should encourage their wives to cultivate a joyful feminine lifestyle that proclaims the glory of being a woman—the distinct and life-giving path where women can truly flourish. This will feel strange at first, so women should be aware that they are doing something radical. It should be understood as an act of war.
Christian, I exhort you to reject the lies that tickle our ears and flatter our flesh while they slowly destroy our families, churches, and nation. Stand firm in the unchanging faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, grounded in love for Christ and his church, and the truth that was delivered to the saints long ago. The hour is late, the days are evil, we have hard work to do. Let us put our hands to the plow for the glory of our God and our King Jesus Christ. Amen.
