Churning Point USA: The Assassination of Charlie Kirk, the Murder of Iryna Zarutska, and the Return of Blood Politics
Two killings, different in scale but united in meaning, have broken the illusion of civility. We have crossed the Rubicon.

Charlie Kirk is dead. And so is peace.
The Assassination of Charlie Kirk
On September 10th, Charlie Kirk was assassinated during an outdoor Q&A session hosted by his organization, Turning Point USA, on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Charlie was in the midst of responding to questions concerning transgender and mass shooters when he was shot in the neck. Five days later, the shock still reverberates across America. We have not reached a turning point; we have reached a churning point.
Authorities have named 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the prime suspect. A White male from a “very hard” Republican family, Robinson broke sharply with his upbringing, embracing leftist politics. He was living with a transgender boyfriend, Lance Twiggs, who was reported to be angry with those who hold conservative ideals and Christian values. Just days before Kirk’s arrival, Robinson flew into a seething rage at a family dinner over Kirk’s planned visit, claiming that Charlie “was full of hate.” Turned in by his own father, Robinson initially confessed to the act, but later denied his guilt and is now refusing to cooperate.
Responses, Right and Left
Details and discoveries are still forthcoming and will likely remain so for some time, but various interpretations and extrapolations are already being made. Some assert that Kirk’s assassination was a coordinated intelligence operation conducted by multiple participants. Others tie it to transgender activists and militia, noting that “they all knew.” Still others point to foreign powers, Epstein, and Israel, with one commentator forwarding a litany of connected dots for this perspective. Others notably oppose this as “low-IQ anti-semitism,” as “de facto enemy” behavior, or as only serving to “absolve the left of any responsibility.” Elsewhere, it’s been suggested that Robinson was a fascist groyper who followed Nick Fuentes—probably the most bizarre and untenable opinion yet.
On the Right, reactions were partly prophetic, fierce, or restrained.
Apocalyptic voices declared that Kirk’s assassination signaled the end. “Trump is the last president,” warned C. Jay Engel, “this whole thing’s gonna blow.” Andrew Isker echoed the mood, praising Kirk’s faith and diligence, and framing his death as the final marker of the old order’s collapse. Imperium Press has likewise predicted that we are witnessing a total intra-political fracture and the onset of tribal warfare.
Retaliatory voices called for escalation and reprisal. Warning that troons are the janissaries of the modern left, Auron MacIntyre demanded “raids and leg irons” for leftist organizations. Joel Webbon, who himself has faced death threats recently, branded transgenderism terrorism. Isker likewise lambasted the left as a target to be destroyed and its powers dismantled.
Defensive and conciliatory voices tried to shield their own flank or seek balance. Nick Fuentes—often Kirk’s critic—conceded Kirk’s ambition, work ethic, and unmatched impact, but insisted that he and his followers were being framed for the assassination by mainstream media. Aarvoll called for peace and dismissed calls to violence, yet insisted upon preparation for civil war. Senator James Lankford struck a more measured tone, saying that the law should be applied equally, whether against White nationalists or leftists.
On the Left, reactions veered between jubilation, mockery, and disdain. The consensus in their minds was simple: Kirk was a fascist bigot who deserved no mourning and got what he deserved.
“Charlie Kirk was a f-ing Nazi,” sneered one green-haired woman, “and you know what kind of Nazi is the best Nazi? A dead one. Thank God that shitstain of a person is no longer in this world.” Another quipped ironically, “Charlie would have wanted it this way,” while a protester at a vigil for Kirk strummed a guitar and screeched: “I want you to f-ing die! We’re not going to give you a second chance, even when you beg for it on your knees.”
Others piled on with sneers, memes, and casual cruelty, mocking his death as fitting punishment for his politics. One man, wearing a flannel shirt and a nose ring, noted that differences of opinion—on things like trans and gay rights, the second amendment, and Christianity as the ruling religion of the USA—were irrelevant. Kirk’s so-called opinions here were “demonstrably evil,” he said, “and who else had a difference of opinion? The f-ing Nazis… we shot them… like we should be doing right now.”

But the “fascist frenzy” was not confined to social media mobs. Over 60,000 incidents of this kind—ranging from ridicule and harassment campaigns to calls for violence—have already been logged in a database by the Charlie Kirk Foundation. Some brave souls have specially devoted themselves to publishing the personal information of leftist detractors and firebrands, with one woman reporting she has contacted over 700 employers. Efforts like this likely undergird the firings which NBC has already reported.
The antifascist sentiment was not confined to anonymous or private agitators; it also has institutional clout. Elizabeth Spiers, writing for The Nation, said that whitewashing Kirk’s reputation is akin to whitewashing Joseph Goebbels. Kirk, she asserted, was a “white Christian nationalist provocateur” who “preached hate, bigotry, and division” and his legacy deserved no mourning. Her colleague, Eli Mystal, added that Kirk is white media’s “martyred mascot of racism and bigotry.”
In short, Kirk was a racist Nazi, and in the wonderful world of Liberalism, where all must have equal rights, racists and Nazis have no rights—not even burial rites.
The Murder of Iryna Zarutska
Just days before Kirk’s assassination, another storm raged: the murder of Iryna Zarutska by Decarlos Brown, a Black serial criminal, now temporarily freed for a psych evaluation, at the order of a democrat judge. Iryna, a young Ukrainian woman whose name meant “peace,” had just left work and boarded a train in Charlotte, NC to return home. Brown, seated behind her, suddenly rose and stabbed her three times as she used her phone. She looked up—stunned, confused, afraid. She briefly looked at herself, and then sunk into her seat and then into the floor, where her blood poured. Brown walked away, gloating to onlookers, “I got that White girl.”
The killing ignited a firestorm online—especially once the full video was released—in ways that I and others had not seen for some time, or perhaps ever. Outrage surged, and the energy unusually persisted and snowballed across the weekend and into the new week. When Kirk was gunned down, attention shifted—but the two events together symbolized and catalyzed something deeper: the unmasking of a more raw, more volatile stage of American life and politics.
The Return of Blood Politics
Two killings, different in scale but united in meaning, have broken the illusion of civility. We have crossed the Rubicon. Blood has been spilled, and blood does not vanish. It cries out, it stains, it churns. America is entering a new era, where ballots and speeches are not enough, where politics is written in blood. Political assassinations and racial killings, White identity and anti-semitism—these things are not aberrations; they are manifestations, markers of a newly inaugurated blood epoch. The “strong loves” long suppressed by the conceits of Liberalism are now pressing to the surface; the middle is buckling; and we are seeing Black, White, Jew, and red. Blood politics is here.
White identity is no longer a fringe opinion; it is now a part of regular discourse; and “racism,” for all intents and purposes, has become a matter of existential necessity. What other conclusion can people reach? Even normies are adopting such a view, and rightfully so. They have eyes; they can see; they can log on to social media and watch video after video of Black-on-White crime and oppression; and through memes, info-graphics, and montages, they can readily witness Jewish chicanery. They have for years—nay, for decades—been put under the yoke of vicious propaganda— instructed in schools and through media, brow-beaten and bullied in public, and pressured by HR departments and within myriad social structures—that they are villains of past and present history, that Blacks are victims, and that Jews are spotless. But this narrative has had its skirt lifted. The pressure has accumulated and providence has proffered a release. Blood politics is here.
As noted by Imperium Press, Kirk’s assassination and Iryna’s murder, while important in their own right, are also crucial pieces in a years-long pattern that marks our fragile departure from one world and portends our tumultuous entry into another. Consensus has evaporated; there is no common myth, no shared ethos or ethic; there is no “glue” that can bind together the opposing forces presently taking the field. Sovereignty is now contestable and increasingly decentralized. The situation is irreconcilable, and in all likelihood will only worsen. Blood politics is here.
If you’re reading or listening to this, you likely think the Left is insane. You’re right. But they, too, think you’re insane. They think your grandmother who bakes apple pie for Thanksgiving, and sends you birthday cards, and prays for you, and is anxious about illegals, is a Nazi. And they think her husband, who likes guns and Jesus, is a Nazi, too. And they think Nazis need to die—not merely as a thought in their minds, but as a world-historical deed which must be performed, an act of religious conquest that will echo in eternity. You may say, “My grandma isn’t a Nazi.” They don’t care. Your world is not theirs; their world is not yours. Your priors, your morality, your spirit is anathema. The writing is on the wall: we’re all Nazis now, so they will afford you none of your nuances. Blood politics is here.
Kirk was debate embodied. He was willing to discuss difficult topics, to work through differences, and to persuade his opponents, if they would listen. He is now dead. Even if it turns out that he was ultimately targeted by Israelis or intelligence operatives, many people will still read the matter otherwise, and the Second Jewish Question is already on the table. Likewise, even if it turns out that Robinson is the lone culprit but was not motivated by leftist ideology, the vicious reactions from leftists are sealed and the right’s desire for reprisal is, too. This antithesis was already primed; the moment simply gave both sides permission. Some are already calling Kirk a martyr, specifically for his Christian faith. His death was a political sacrifice that exposed the deep fractures in this nation—of this there can be no doubt. Leftists rejoiced when he died because they don’t want debate; they want you dead. Blood politics is here.
Iryna was liberalism embodied. She sought refuge in this country from the war in Ukraine. No greater exemplar for testing the promises and perils of “universal human rights” and “DEI” could be had in the present moment. She is now dead. Had she been racist, she’d still be alive. It was reported that back in Ukraine she had a Black Lives Matter poster in her room. Let us grant it. But let us also cogitate. That which she sought to extend to Blacks and therefore to Decarlos—dignity, worth, life—he stole from her. What saith providence? Races are different; Whites are better than Blacks; you may not see color, but color sees you; and yes, there are niggers who will murder you just so they can brag about it. This is the deduction that many make. And why shouldn’t they? Blood politics is here.
Politics is not just ideas. Politics is war by other means. Politics is kin, identity, inheritance. Politics is friend vs. enemy. Politics is Tyler Robinson being raised “very hard” Republican then defecting to leftism and shacking up with a tranny. Politics is betrayal, intrigue, strife. Politics is the democrats refusing to yield a moment of silence for Kirk. Politics is Donald Trump’s bloody ear. Politics is violence. Politics now bleeds, and every drop spilled may beget another: murder and assassination and propaganda breed reprisal, and reprisal breeds war. Reciprocal velocity is at hand. And it is both possible and likely that God is demanding the debt: the sins of this land must sound with all horror in his ears, and many of them demand a vengeful hand. Blood politics is here.
Some have called the killings senseless. But why should they be? The killings are intelligent, sensible, logical. Charlie was a threat to someone somewhere—we can imagine many reasons why—and so he therefore needed to die. Perhaps it was just raw, radical leftism at work, and perhaps the animus that has been stoked by our political discourse stimulated the proclivity of an idealist. Perhaps it was an Israeli hit-job for Charlie’s insubordination to Netanyahu, his Jewish donors, his rabbinic counselor who called him “combative,” or something else. God knows. But in the mind of someone, or some ones, it made sense: it was planned, prepped for, and executed with great success. Iryna likewise was a curated prize waiting to be claimed in an anti-racist game-world that rewards beasts like Decarlos for their shameless, brutal temerity. He had already been charged some fourteen times prior with minimal repercussions, and his own people, who were seated next to him yet did nothing, have proven to be perniciously tribal. What, then, was present in his own mind and experience, or there upon the train, to restrain him from stabbing Iryna? There was every incentive to do it, just as there is every incentive for vigilantes to close the loop if the law fails. Blood politics is here.
If you don’t have a gun, buy one. Buy several. Train. Put your head on a swivel. If you don’t have a tribe, get one. If you are fat, get fit. If you are surrounded by diversity, get out, unless you are planning some righteous campaign and have counted the cost. If you don’t believe in God, if you are still in your sins, then know that today is the day of salvation: repent and turn to Christ. Save your soul, become truly useful, and ensure your deeds here on earth will be crowned in eternity. If you are nursing secret sins, stop; be holy as your Father is holy; pursue glory in your place. God says to you, “give your gifts, for your fellow countryman desperately needs them.” If you are still using the shibboleths of racist, Nazi, fascist, or White nationalist against others, know this: blood is on your hands, and your judgment will not tarry. If your church is not “political,” if your pastor studiously avoids touching on these pressing issues, if all he has to say to you amounts to no more than “escape this world and ignore reality,” then he is your enemy and so is that church; but you dare not forsake Christ, so find another church or start one, and remember that no man needs permission to do good. If you want to get involved in the political, then look at organizations like Old Glory Club, Patriot Front, and NOVA, or form your own cadre locally and get to work. Pray for this country. Pray for Iryna’s family. Pray for Charlie’s family. Pray for courage and strength, for holy boldness. Pray imprecatory psalms against the wicked. Pray for God to send us lesser saviors, and act as one in your place. Find the videos of Charlie and Iryna. Face what is real. Watch. Weep. Rage. Resolve. If you think that Christ is opposed to bloodshed, if you think that the Christian faith requires pacifism, if you think that only official magistrates may wield the sword, or if you think the sole task of your faith is simply to evangelize then lie down and lose, then think again; go read the book of Judges, go read Genesis 14, go read Pharaoh’s tombstone, and go back to the cross. Violence is sometimes necessary, and therefore you may need to shed blood—yours or others—in order to be faithful. Now, not later, is the time to clear this in your mind. Your enemy already has.
